With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doloris Arlene Owens of Platte, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Odefey and Esther Odefey; her brother Marv Odefey; and her grandson Jackson Bunt. She is survived by: her husband Frank Owens of Joseph's Cathedral; her daughters, Kathy Wipf (James), Julie Limmer (Mike) and Patty Bunt (Doug) of Cumming, GA; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Maggie Wipf, Jake, Josh Limmer (Taylyn), Benjamin and Matthew Bunt; her siblings, Arnold Odefey (Jean) of Savage, MN, Lois Bynum of Phoenix, AZ and Lee Owens of Kona, HI; her niece Marilee Maxwell of Rogers, MN; and her close friends, Maureen Richardson and Barb Lockrem.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask for donations to be directed to Good Samaritan Luther Manor, Avera at Home Hospice or The Banquet.
