He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Richard Hunter and Ruth Opal Hunter (Whaley); his wife Ona Lorene Myers; his children, Marcy and Meredith; his siblings, Bert Richard Hunter and Georgia Ellen Ruiz; and his daughter-in-law Mary Lou Hunter.
He is survived by: his children, Mitch Hunter of Idabel, OK, Mica Balster (Brian) of Platte, SD and Milford Hunter (Pennie) of Pontiac, IL; his daughter-in-law Mira Hunter of Pensacola, FL; his grandchildren, Lisa Martin, Kristal Balster, Kim Veal (Todd), Kathy Erickson (Ross) of Platte, SD, Karen Basker (Arun), Justin Hunter (Thesalee), Matt Hunter (Alex) and Cassie Chopp (Jacob); and his cousins, Rafer Onwiler and Julie Conrad. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, two of whom we consider sibling.
