He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit Boltjes and Susie Boltjes (Tillema); his daughter Darla Boltjes; his siblings, Percy Boltjes and Annie Boltjes; his parents-in-law, Henry and Jessie Bultsma; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Tjeerdsma, Alfred Van Zee and Bernice Jaeger (Harold).

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Bultsma of Platte, SD; his children, Gary Boltjes (Kathy) of Platte, SD, Craig Boltjes of Platte, SD, Tami Boltjes of Platte, SD, Steve Boltjes (Erica) of Platte, SD and Tom Boltjes (Vickie) of Platte, SD; and his siblings, Alice Van Zee of Platte, SD, Cornelia Tjeerdsma of Avon, SD, Bob Boltjes (Barb) of Platte, SD and Rod Boltjes (Marge) of Alta Loma, CA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

Covid procedures will be practiced.
