He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry A. Kuipers and Elizabeth "Betty" Kuipers (Oldekamp); his sister Brenda; his parents-in-law, Willy and Mary Mattson; and his brother-in-law Vern Van Dusseldorp.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Mattson of Platte, SD; his children, Dylene Gilb (James) of San Diego, CA, Aaron Kuipers (Michelle) of Snow Hill, MD and Marybeth Bliss (Chris) of Anthem, AZ; his grandchildren, Josiah, Samuel, Faith Gilb, Dominic Kuipers, Gracelyn, Zane and Lilly Bliss; and his brothers, Jim Kuipers of Platte, SD, Doug Kuipers of Platte, SD and Robert Kuipers of Tyndall, SD.
