He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Kuipers and Jennie Kuipers (VandenBos); his former wife Marlene Kuipers (Ligtenberg); his siblings, Henry Kuipers (Hermina), Bill Kuipers (Nellie) and Margaret DeVries (John); his brother-in-law Don Severson; and his parents-in-law, Cornie and Elizabeth Dornbush.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Dornbush of Westfield, ND; his children, Alison, Dorissa, Mark Kuipers (Renae) of Platte, SD, Lowell Kuipers (Shelley) of Tea, SD, Brenda VanderWel (Cor) of Colorado Springs, CO, Crystal DeLange (Trent) of Corsica, SD and Juliann Vanden Bosch (Kurt); and his sister Evelyn Severson of Platte, SD. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren.
