It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Thompson of Plankinton, South Dakota, who passed away on November 9, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Darleen V. Thompson; his wife Betty; his father Peter; his siblings, Denton, Alvin and Eileen Tobin; his siblings-in-law, Darwin Tobin, Bobby Schaefer, Katherine Thompson and Janet Thompson; his nephew Marlon Thompson; his great-nephew Jeremy Thompson; his great-niece Lacey Hattervig; and also Shandra Tobin.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Margene Thompson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
