With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mavis V. Haines of Plankinton, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mavis may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Prayer Service & Eastern Star Rites United Methodist Church (210 E Rd, Plankinton, SD 57368). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church (210 E Rd, Plankinton, SD 57368).
