He is survived by: his wife Verna Leigh Lutz; his pet Hannah; his siblings, Evan Edinger (Pennie) of Chamberlain, SD, Gloria Hauser (Ken) of Black Hawk, SD and Marlene Geiman (Dan) of Plankinton, SD; his brothers-in-law, Butch Lutz (Jane) of Rock Port, MO, Tom Lutz (Norma) of Holly Springs, NC and Kelly (Dawn) of St. Libory, NE; and his godson Shaun Skrondahl of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by 16 loving nieces and nephews, 21 great nieces and nephews, and 4 great-great nieces and nephews.
