He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Franklin and Nellie DeGeest (Reed); his siblings, Dale, Roy DeGeest (Jan) and Mary Califf; his parents-in-law, Waneta and Burdette; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Sargent, Rodney Sargent, Melvin Taylor, Anita Pickenpaugh and Artice DeGeest.
He is survived by: his wife Kitti; his children, Natasha Thiry (Jason) of Kennebec, SD, Nathan DeGeest and Natia DeGeest; his siblings, Ruth Taylor of Armour, SD and Vern DeGeest of Corsica, SD; and his brother-in-law Billy Sargent of Greybull, WY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
