He was predeceased by: his parents, William Merrill and Alvera Merrill; his sisters, Nancy Mileusnich and Georgia Allen; and his sisters-in-law, Vickey Faulhaber and Carol Schoenfelder.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Kimberly McNurlin (Thomas) and Robert Merrill (Kim); his grandchildren, Elyse and Jorja Merrill; his brothers, Tom Merrill (Dorothea) and Rev. John Merrill (Kenlyn); and his brothers-in-law, Richard Faulhaber and Rodney of Maine.
In lieu of flowers, David's family suggests contributions be made to St Paul Lutheran Church 109 W. State St., Plankinton, SD, 57368.
