He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Marelda Della Moen, Bernardino Guzman, Sr., Rachel Cottier and Vincent Dewey Mesteth; and his aunts and uncles, Gloria Mesteth, Marilyn Martin, Gloria Nelson, Sylvester Mesteth, Albert Mesteth, Theodore Mesteth, Vincent Mesteth, Jr. and Robert Guzman.
He is survived by: his parents, Bernardino Guzman, Jr. of Rapid City, SD and Helen Guzman (Mesteth) of Rapid City, SD; his siblings, Kenneth Mesteth of Rapid City, SD, Richard Mesteth of Rapid City, SD, Theodore Guzman of Rapid City, SD, Bernardino Guzman III of Rapid City, SD, Nichole Guzman of Rapid City, SD and Alicia Twiss of Rapid City, SD; his aunt Rose Marie of California; and his uncle Ronald Guzman of Lodi, California. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
