She was predeceased by: her parents, Royal Yankton and Roselyn Yankton (Randall); her husband George Mesteth; her siblings, Carol Yankton, Delane, Larry and Ricky Yankton; and her grandparents, James Yankton, Minnie Yankton (Cloud Horse), Joseph Randall and Sarah LaDeaux.
She is survived by: her children, Brandi Apple of Pine Ridge, SD and Sheldon Mesteth of Pine Ridge, SD; her sister Kathy Dillon of Pine Ridge, SD; her grandchildren, Tianna, Steven, Brittany, Tariah, Gia and Shy; and her great grandchild Elijah. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Sioux Funeral Home (370 Oglala St BOX 277, Pine Ridge, SD 57770). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery (51 US-18, Pine Ridge, SD 57770).
