He is survived by: his children, Melvin Brewer, Jr., Charles "Chuck" Brewer and Lisa Agurre; his sisters-in-law, Alice "Babe" Brewer and Arlene Brewer; his grandsons, Francis and Louis Brewer; and his nieces, Stacey, Coleen, Allie, Joy and Corby. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchild, nieces, and nephews.
