It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila Jean Cortier (Pine Ridge, South Dakota), born in Porcupine, South Dakota, who passed away on May 31, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Pretty Boy and Hazel Pine Bird; her husband Maynard Cortier; her son Gaylord Frogg; her granddaughters, Mariah Marie Cortier, Andrea Cortier and Kayelyn Cortier; her son Gerald Cortier; and her grandson Michael Walking.
She is survived by: her children, Marie Pretty Boy, Marylin Pretty Boy, Louise Frogg, Harley Cortier, Wayne Cortier, Adrian Cortier, Carl Cortier, Tracy Cortier and Amber Cortier; and her siblings, Mario Pretty Boy, Serena Pretty Boy and Charity Pretty Boy. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
