He is survived by: his parents, Leslie Cortier and Joe Dixon, Sr.; his siblings, Frank Yellow Boy, Joe Dixon, Jr., Dale Cortier, Destiney Cortier and Francine Cortier; his grandmothers, Harriett White Face and Nellie Lakota; his aunt Amy Cortier; his uncle Lester Cortier; his niece Genesis Yellow Boy; and his nephews, Cody Cortier and Deshawn Cortier.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the #4 Payabaya Community Building (4 Community-U. S. HWY 18, Pine Ridge, SD 57770). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
