It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Dale Swallow (Pine Ridge, South Dakota), who passed away on May 12, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John L. Swallow, Jr.; and his grandparents, John Swallow Sr., Lizzie, Charles and Alice White Wolf (Bird Eagle).
He is survived by: his mother Susanna Swallow (White Wolf); his son Forrest Swallow; his uncle Victor Swallow; his siblings, Elizabeth Swallow, Antoinette Fast Wolf (Lance), Mary Knutson (Kelly), Dan Swallow (Amaris), Gene Swallow and Cindy Schippacase (Rob); his former wife Lisa Swallow; and his nephews, James Knutson, Oscar Swallow, Marcus Fast Wolf, Christian Knutson, Jack Fast Wolf, Charlie Swallow, Toby Swallow, Micah Swallow and Julian Swallow. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
