With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Tobacco (Pine Ridge, South Dakota), who passed away on April 1, 2025 at the age of 45. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Dugan Tobacco, Sr.; his brother Dugan Tobacco, Jr.; his grandparents, Homer Stands, Sr., Halen Long Warrior-Stands, Vincent Tobacco, Sr. and Irene Wounded-Tobacco; and his sister LaVonne Tobacco.
He is survived by: his mother Henrietta Stands-Nelson; his stepfather Lance Nelson; his children, Shaylee Tobacco, Gabriel Tobacco, Ethen Tobacco and Alica Tobacco; and his siblings, Cassidy Stands, Adam Tobacco, Dusty, Rusty Brings Plenty, Francisca Tobacco, Winona Tobacco, Kechina Nelson and Chalsey Tobacco. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
