She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Reshaw and Rita Reshaw (Tapio); her son Arlen Cuny; her siblings, Edison, Leslie Wayne Reshaw, Chuck Richards, Robert Richards, Lonnie Bettelyoun, Kenneth DuBray, Glen, Virginia Pourier and Nettie Oldson; her grandchildren, Orien Brown, Marsha White Bull and Mary Red Cloud; and her grandparents, Benjamin, Nettie Reshaw (Eldridge), Alice Shangreau and Joe Tapio.
She is survived by: her husband Monte Whalen; her children, Melva White Bull and Kim Cuny; her sisters, Phylliss "Mert" Kocer (Melvin), Shirley Bradford and Valeria Richards; her grandchildren, Ferris White Bull, Jr., Thomas Cottier (Alyssa), Ashley Cottier, Devon Red Cloud, Cynthia Middletent (DJ), Benjamin Red Cloud, Jr., Jacob Brown, Jesse Brown, Cheyenne, Kayla and Brad Red Cloud; her great grandchildren, Ferris White Bull III and Francine Red Cloud; and her nephews, Charles Oldson, Les Oldson, Shawn Richards and Terry Richards. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
