It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Louis Farruggia of Pine Ridge, South Dakota, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Charles Farruggia (Calogero); his stepfather Jerry Vifquain; his sister Mary Farruggia; and his grandparents, Louis, Hester McGaa (Cuny), Calogero and Francesca Farruggia (Salamone).
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Mientka Farruggia of Pine Ridge, SD; his sons, Charles "Tony" Anthony Farruggia (Chrissy) and Stephen Farruggia (Bridgett); the mother of his children Monica Beshara Best; his grandchildren, Kennedy and Sicily Farruggia; his mother Valeria LouElla Vifquain; and his siblings, Stephen Farruggia (Sheila), Lorna Graham (Richard), Elmer "Rusty" Vifquain (Brenda), Valora Beshara (Ronald), Therese Fuestenau (Jeff), Jerry Vifquain (Audra), Lorelei "Lolli" Ball, Ann Harms (Ray), Angeli Totten (Scott), Mary "Kati" Skinner (Matt), Gena McFarland (Jason Heikkenin), Aaron Vifquain (Mykel) and Jesse Vifquain (Terrilyn). He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and very special friends.
