It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlette Janis (Pine Ridge, South Dakota), who passed away on May 11, 2019, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Janis, Sr. and Bertha Red Shirt-Yellow; her siblings, Kenneth Janis, Jr. and Darla Janis; her grandchildren, Darla Rae Brown Bull and Shawn Clifford; and her nephew David "R. C.".
She is survived by: her husband Michael Tyon of Pine Ridge, SD; her children, Derek Janis (Helene Bagola) and Creedance Brown Bull (Mark); and her brothers, Robert Janis of Ann Arbor, MI, Gary Janis and Rodney "O. D.". She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
