He is survived by: his niece Dena; his children, Shauna Swanson (Reid) of Pierre Jodi and Steven Smith of Pierre; his grandson Blake Widvey Fort (Logan); his siblings, Lori Shangreaux (Rich) and Chuck Smith; and his former wives, Amy Smith (Mouw) and Marcia. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews and their children.
