He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Zimmerman (J. H.) and Verna Zimmerman (Schmidt); his significant other Phyllis Ramsey; his close friend Alvin Glasshoff; his niece Crystal Glasshoff; his sister JoAnn Glasshoff (Alvin); and his children, Gaye, Paul and John. He was also cherished by spouses, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
It is mandatory to wear a mask to the funeral because of the increase in COVID-19 cases in Pierre and in consideration of others. Social distancing will be practiced at the funeral.
