He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Engel and Josephine Engel; his sons, Russell and Terry; and his siblings, Lila, Carol and Eddie.
He is survived by: his son Ronnie; his wife Doris; his children, Lisa Campbell (Rick Langenfeld) of Sioux Falls, Lori Davis (John Wasson) of Renner, Randy Engel (Jodi) of Canton, SD, Rick Engel (Jodie) of Britton, SD, Rob Engel of Rapid City, Ron Engel (Becky) of Rapid City, Ruth Sejnoha of Mitchell, SD and Billy Goody of Washington; his grandchildren, Brianna and Braedon (Jade); and his great grandchild Lyric. He is also survived by many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
