He was predeceased by: his grandmother Mary Hein; his father-in-law Don Sharp; and his pets, Noel and Buddy. He is survived by: his parents, Steve Schley and Rhonda Hein; his wife Nicole; his sisters, Nikita and Jennifer; his nephew Drayson; his mother-in-law Lois Sharp; and his grandparents, Art Hein, Dwane and Bernadine Schley. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
