He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Hummel and Beata Hummel (Mehlhoff); his wife Pamela; his siblings, Darlene and Gordon; his grandson Alexander Jonathan Westly Grant; his stepdaughter Kay Wheeler; his niece Sandra Goody; and his nephew Gary Goody.
He is survived by: his former wife Carol Knock; his children, Amanda Crabtree (Don) of Albuquerque, NM, Donna Schmidt (Mike), Barbara Grant, Ronald Jr. Hummel (Becky), Christopher (April) and Magruder; his stepchildren, Dwight Thompson, David Thompson and Karen Callahan (Pat); and his sister Karen Jacobson (Roger) of Stanton, ND. He is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren.
