He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Pries and Emma Pries; his sister Phyllis; his brothers-in-law, Lynn Johnson and John Hall; and also, Ellsworth and Lepha Henkins.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Henkins; his children, Brent Pries (Mona) of Pierre, SD and Sarah Coons (Casey) of Arvada, CO; his grandchildren, Ashley Brewer (Aaron), Zane Pries (Sarah) and Coons; his great grandchildren, Jet, Lainee, Colt Brewer and Trale Pries; his sisters-in-law, Nancy Tucker (Bill) of McLean, VA, Trish Hall and Della Riis (Ron); his niece Dawn Bakke; and his nephew Greg Johnson of Minneapolis, MN.
