He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Stertz and Mary Ellen Stertz (Burger); and his siblings, Cathy Stertz, Delores Hargens, Frederick Stertz (Bud), Henry Stertz (Hank), Mary Ann Erickson and Benjamin Stertz (Ben).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Stertz (Bauske); his sons, Todd (Sandy) and Toby (Brittney); his grandchildren, Cooper Stertz, Abigail Stertz, Ethan Stertz and Spencer Stertz; and his siblings, Harold Stertz (Lee) and Elaine Scott.
