He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Solberg and Hazel Solberg (Sparby); his sister Alice Wookey (Solberg); his siblings-in-law, Marvin Ness and Darlene Solberg; his niece Marcella Ness; his nephew Mark Hofer; his brother-in-law Keith Zugschwerdt; his parents-in-law, Fern Zugschwerdt (Flynn) and Vernie Zugschwerdt; and his daughter-in-law Carol Solberg (Nordlund).
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Dwight (Kathie), Marcia, Todd (Troy), Craig, Noel and Denise (Curtis); his siblings, Pearl (Carroll), Harriet (Ken), Ruthie (John) and Lester; and his close friends, Jerry Gooding and Sue Bourk. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
