She was predeceased by: her daughters, Laura and Linda; her husband Richard Claggett; her parents, Emil Flood and Mollie Flood; her adoptive parents, Gus Brehe and Stella Weischedel Brehe; and her siblings, Vera Seymour (Bill), Alma McDonnell (Leonard), Hazel Marshall (Phil), Alice West (Harold), Grace Smith (Fred), Myrtle Pearson (Verne), Arlene Pruess (Doc), Cal Brehe (Pauline) and Charles Brehe.
She is survived by: her close friend Loretta Rivers of Gaithersburg, MD.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
