He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cunningham and Hazel Cunningham (Hansen); his sisters, Rose Russell, Bobbi Maher and Marjorie Small; his wife Elaine Cunningham; and his sons, Michael and Ricky Cunningham.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Cunningham of Greeley, CO and Sherrie Murphy (Pat) of Pierre, SD; and his brothers-in-law, John David (Bev) of Longview, WA and Bob David of Fruita, CO.
In lieu of flowers, Mel's family suggests contributions be made to Countryside Hospice.
