She was predeceased by: her parents, Ausbrand Valentine and LaVerne Valentine (Robert Austad); her daughter Roberta Austad; and her siblings, Verne Valentine, Bernice Meyers and Colleen Skinner.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Austad (Bonnie) of Rapid City; her brother Robert Valentine (Deb) of Yankton; and her aunt Lenore Case (Warren) of Enterprise, AL. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Resurrection Lutheran Church (103 N Taylor Ave, Pierre, SD 57501).
