She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Colby and Nettie Colby (Mickelson). She is survived by: her children, David Ellwein (Norma), Stephen Ellwein (Shirley), Kathryn Ann Harris (John) and Peggy Ellwein (Brian Wickman); and her nieces and nephews, Wickman and Feickert. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Lutheran Memorial Church.
