Loni Shoup Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Loni Shoup (Pierre, South Dakota), born in Huron, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her fathers, Elmer Langbehn and Ellamaye Langbehn; her husband Ben Shoup Jr. (Buzz); her children, Matthew Shoup and Melinda Shoup; her sister Julie Langbehn; her parents-in-law, Genevieve and Ben Shoup Sr.; and her siblings-in-law, Cheris Wagner, Rick (Dorthy Shoup) and Carol Shoup.
She is survived by: her daughter Melodee Shoup; her grandchildren, Abbee Draine (Ben), Ranni Hopkins and Stefan Hopkins; her son Michael Shoup (Ann); her grandsons, Nathan and Seth Shoup; her brother David Langbehn (Connie); her siblings-in-law, Jim Shoup, Arlo Wagner, Cindy Thoene (Ralph) and Marjorie Zebroski; and her aunt Bev Merrill (Korie Langbehn). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (714 N Grand Ave, Pierre, SD 57501).
