She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Champ and Gladys Champ (Lamb); her son Howard of Lystad's Pest Control; her former husband Howard Ness; her husband Pereley Clelland; her siblings, Maxine Schultz and Dale Champ; her daughter Wanda Trimble; her son-in-law Jim Trimble; her grandson Christian Trimble; and her great grandchild Gabriel Ehnes.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Ness (Mary) of Pierre, Jim Ness (Kathy) of Wheat Ridge, CO and David Ness (Lisa) of Forks, WA; her siblings, Jean Olson of Fargo, ND and Wayne Champ of Moorhead, MN; her siblings-in-law, Dan Ness of Hatton, ND and Elaine Bonovsky of Mayville, ND.; and her grandchildren, Amber Stout (Travis), Kelly Briggs (Chase), Shelli Rodrigues (Fabricio), Jenny Hofer (Mick), Brian Trimble (Amanda), Kayla Heeren (Jay), Abby Ehnes (Tyler), Scott Trimble, Rachel Savage (Josh), James Trimble (Kenzie), Adam Trimble (Briana), Lucas Trimble (Rebekah), Josiah Trimble, Erica Ness, Austin Ness, LeeAnna Ness, Tyler Ness and Carson Ness. She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren, and many wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Countryside Hospice – St. Benedict's Guest House in Pierre, SD.
