She is survived by: her children, David Ludwig, Sue Stotz (Victor), Starla Luoma (Owen) and Danelle Youngbluth (Todd); her sisters, Leah Gray and Melissa Lilly (Darrell); her sisters-in-law, Karen Day and Kay Thomas (Harry); and her grandchildren, Michael Ludwig (Julie), Desirae Noteboom (Jay), Dayna Husman (Matt), Heather Ludwig, Reed Ludwig, Cody Stotz (Mindy), Jessica Mefferd (Andrew), Tyler Luoma (Allie), Ryne Luoma, Mason Luoma and Alayna Youngbluth. She is also survived by nephews, nieces.
In 2020, Lila received the "Friend of the Fair" award from the Sully County Fair, a fitting tribute to her dedication and contributions to her community.
