He was predeceased by: his parents, Milbert Mattheis and Crystal Mattheis (Sherwood); and his sister Norma Claunch. He is survived by: his spouse Marillyn Penrod; his children, Dawn Kramme (Shane) of Fort Pierre and Shane Mattheis (Jackie) of Pierre; his grandchildren, Cody Mattheis, Tyler Mattheis, Shale Kramme, Lane Kramme, Ladd Kramme and Kate Kramme; and his great grandchildren, Tenley Mattheis and Berkley Mattheis.
