She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Robertson and Mable "Tutti" Robertson (Ferris). She is survived by: her husband William John Nielsen; her children, Larry, Ross, Cindy, Marci, Tricia and Wendy; her sisters, Gwen, Lou Ann and Penny; and her grandchildren, Evan and Erin Nielsen. She is also survived by other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (714 N Grand Ave, Pierre, SD 57501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
