Joseph Kelley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Kelley (Pierre, South Dakota), who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kenneth and Jeanne Kelley (Linn); and his brothers, Bob, Danny and Mike.
He is survived by: his daughter Jeanne Joy; his siblings, David Kelley (Penny) and Diann Smith; and his sister-in-law Laurie Kelley. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peter & Paul Catholic Church (304 N Euclid Ave, Pierre, SD 57501). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
