He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Cunniff and Dora Cunniff (Fleming); his wife Sonja Blalock; and his daughter Kathy Cohan (Cunniff). He is survived by: his children, Jason Cunniff (Leah) and Zak Cunniff; and his stepchildren, Tammy Betian (Rolly), Jim Painter (Lupe Montalvo) and Mary Barnish-Siebold (Dave). He is also survived by his sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Life Assembly of God (1120 N Harrison Ave, Pierre, SD 57501).
