With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Pitlick (Pierre, South Dakota), who passed away on May 3, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pitlick and Florence Pitlick (Smith); his sister Mary; his parents-in-law, Mary Ann Pitlick, Roger Lehmkuhl, Lyle Patterson and Milton Patterson (Dixie); and also, Ann and Rolland Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Velda Pitlick of Pierre; his siblings, Kenneth Pitlick of Newcastle, WY, Janet Lehmkuhl of Pierre, Paul Pitlick of Pierre, Michael Pitlick (Beth) of Pierre, David Pitlick (Jane) of Onida and Tom Pitlick (Rita Wagner) of Casper, WY; and his sister-in-law Verneal O'Brien (Terry) of Highmore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak there will be a private funeral liturgy service at 10:00am on Friday, May 8th at St. John's Catholic Church in Fort Pierre.
