He is survived by: his brothers, Cowboying and Raising Cattle; his former wife Barbara Rinehart of Highmore; his wife Sharon Kindopp (West); his children, Todd Suhn (Wendy) of Hermosa, SD, Randy Suhn (Karie) of Riverton, WY, Jerrian Franzen (Beau) of Morse, TX, James Kindopp (Julie) of Sioux Falls, SD, Justin Kindopp (Lynn) of Gary, SD, Sara Gloe (Willie) of Pierre and Amber Mason (Josh) of Pierre; his grandchildren, Slate, Zoey, Kail, Shahayle, Tiayla, Cye, Billy, Jaden, Bailey, Brooklyn, Cooper, Jacob and Daniel; and his siblings, Barbara Law of Yankton, Vern Suhn (Vicki) of Eureka, KS, Dale Suhn (LeAnn) of Miller, SD and Kathy Marsden of Watertown, SD. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
