He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Tibbs and Mildred E. Tibbs (Kirley); and his daughter Karen. He is survived by: his spouse Kayle Rice; his son Brian Tibbs (Chelsee); and his grandchildren, Sklyer, Bella, Emilee, Colin and Tyler. He is also survived by cousins and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name.
