She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive Gage (Sloan) and Robert Gage; and her brother Charles Gage. She is survived by: her husband Ron Merkle; and her children, Robert Merkle, James Merkle, Kaylee Merkle and Tawnia Merkle.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel (450 N 7th St, Spearfish, SD 57783). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
