He is survived by: his wife Anne McQuillen; his children, Joseph Patrick, Joe of Sioux Falls and Ellen Hopper (Jesse) of Watertown, SD; his grandchildren, Evelyn Grace, Georgianna Lucile and Jonah Eugene Hopper; his sister Gwen Brott (Joe) of Deer Lodge, MT; his uncle Bill Tempel (Marcia) of Colfax, WA; his aunts, Elvina Tempel of Joplin, MT and Lorraine Tempel of Kalispell, MT; his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Walsh (Tom, Sr.), Mary McQuillen of Sioux Falls, Ellen Cooch (Greg) of Climbing Hill, IA and John McQuillen of Deadwood, SD; and his nieces and nephews, Lukas Brott (Gina), Isaak Brott (Jenna), Tom, Jr. Walsh (Jennifer), Joe Cooch (Criscel), Katherine Musielewicz (Dino), Molly Christianson (Adam), Katie Meert (Matt), Ellen Stoll (Neil) and Catherine Allen (Justin).
Memorials will be directed to the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, the Choteau, MT, Lions Club Swimming Pool, or a charity of the donor's choice.
