It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary A. Heintz (Pierre, South Dakota), who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow "Red" Heintz and Grace Heintz. He is survived by: his wife Patti; his sister Debra Hobert (Gary) of Harrold, SD; his children, Kristine Giroux (John) of Larned, KS, Jacqueline Wilcox (Lorin) of North Logan, UT, Rebecca Urias (Tomas) of Mesa, AZ and Matthew Heintz (Rebekah) of Mesa, AZ; his stepdaughters, Beth Henrichsen (Chris) of Pierre, SD and Amy Hotchkin (Dennis) of Youngsville, NC; his pet Augie; and his close friends, Carmen and Fred Magee. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great granddaughter, nephews, cousins, friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Avera Oncology in Pierre, SD.
