He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Wixon and Bertha Wixon; his former wife Alice Kepler; his brother Carroll Wixon (Clarice Wixon); and his sister-in-law Barb Wixon.
He is survived by: his wife Shirleen Wixon; his children, Dawn Cronin (Ed), Denise Loof (Maloy), Mark Wixon (Debra), Deborah Green (Bob) and Cynthia Frohling (Lance); his siblings, Ronald Wixon, Terry Wixon (Randi), Diedre Garrels (Ron), Deanna Chapman (Doug) and Daryl Johnson (Mike); his grandchildren, Patrick Cronin (Elizabeth), Michael Cronin, Meaghan Cronin, Denai Kjenstad (Joshua), Danessa Likness, Devin Likness, Moriah Wixon, Levi Wixon, Amanda Choi (Jinhyuk), Matthew Green (Dagne), Jared Loecker and Isabelle Loecker; and his great grandchildren, Brigid, Lena, Rose Cronin, Adelaide and Eloise Kjenstad.
Memorials will be given to the Civil Air Patrol.
