She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bowman and Marie Bowman (Steiner); her husband Marvin Fry; and her siblings, Charles, John, George, Robert, Rose and Edna.
She is survived by: her sons, Ken Fry (Judy) of Orange City, IA, Don Fry of Pierre and Larry Fry (Jan) of Pierre; her grandchildren, Chasidy McCarty (Steve), Kristine Fry, Heather Sickler (Travis), Janelle Van Riesen and Sarah Fry; her brother Phillip Bowman; and her close friend Irene Sautter. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
