She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Thompson and Ruth Thompson (Walton); her children, Michael Spears, Patrick Spears, Daniel Spears and Kathy Spears; and her siblings, Benjamin, Joseph, Richard "Bill" Thompson, Wynona Long, Josephine Moore, Majel West and Arlene LaRoche.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Spears; and her daughters, Brenda Seeley (John) of Pierre and Tammy Friedrich (Curt) of Aurora, SD. She is also survived by grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
