It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Hanson of Pierre, South Dakota, born in Sacramento, California, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchell Belle Rhoades and Marie Margaret Rhoades (Foster); her son Mark A; her husband David Allen Hanson; her brother-in-law Alvin Rutsch; and her nephew Timothy Rustch.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Hanson, Steven Hanson, Deb Tvinnereim and John Hanson (Jackie); her grandchildren, Michael Hanson (Jennifer) and Susan Casper (Sam); her great grandchildren, Samuel, Gracen and Mallory; her daughter Sarah Hanson; her great grandchildren, Carter, Peighton and Hudson; her granddaughter Megan Meyers (Nick); her great grandchildren, Owen, Aden, Easton and Noah (Matthew Hanson); her siblings, Bobbette Rutsch (Rhoades) and Mike Rhoades (Marc Ellis); her nephew Tom Rutsch; and also, Seth Van Severyn and Mitchell Hanson (Natalie). She is also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren.
