She was predeceased by: her significant other Edward Doud; her parents, Richard Schilling and Elizabeth Schilling; her son LeRoy Doud; and her siblings, Richard Schilling, Ethel Sowards, Barbara Thrun, Margaret Frazier and Betty Burmeister.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ida, Marliss Dean (James) of Pierre, SD. and Laura Rolf (Mick) of Pierre, SD.; her grandchildren, Jason Crosby, Justin Crosby (Ashley), Travis Rolf (Melissa), Cody Rolf (Haylea), Jamie Lounsbury (Brandon), Amanda Dean (Krystal) and Christopher Dean; and her brother William Schilling of Remsen, IA.. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
